This cruise sold prices beginning at $73k. It was marketed out in less than 3 hours.
A cruise ship with fares beginning at $73,499 sold out in much less than 3 hours Wednesday.
Minister 7 Seas Cruises put tickets for the 2024 Globe Cruise up for sale around 8:30 a.m. EST Wednesday. They marketed out around 11 a.m., according to a firm statement. Fares were as high as $199,999 per visitor for a master collection.
The cruise is set to remove on Jan. 6, 2024, from Miami, Florida on the 7 Seas Seafarer.
The almost five-month cruise will cover 34,500 maritime miles, venturing bent on 66 ports and 31 countries, including destinations in Central America, the U.S. West Coast, Hawaii, South Pacific Islands, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Center East, the Mediterranean, and Bermuda. There are 442 coast expeditions available.
Wednesday’s ticket sales broke the business’s document for opening day bookings, according to a Thursday press release. The previous document was embedded in September 2020, when bookings for Regent’s 2023 Globe Cruise went on sale.
Jason Montague, head of state, and chief executive officer of Regent 7 Seas Cruises, a subsidiary of Norwegian Cruise ship Line Holdings, claimed there has been a “strong rise” of new travelers with the business.
“With a waitlist longer than we have ever experienced, we understood that the 2024 Globe Cruise was mosting likely to be popular, yet this exceptional reaction has gone beyond all assumptions,” Montague said in the declaration. “For our guests, the 2024 World Cruise stands for so much more than simply a cruise ship holiday – it’s a go back to a normality”.
